Footwear fiasco

There had been a lot of times that my footwear had been torn. Honestly, most of the time it wasn't my fault. My feet are somehow bigger than usual (as for my height). Good thing is that, I can foresee such incidents in my life. I always carry some emergency repair stuff. Most of times it was fixed and if not then I just act it all out. A lot of good looking shoes are out in the market right now but my feet can surely tell if it will last long or not. The following footwear that will be part of the crimes that I've committed were actually unnamed. I can tell they are of poor quality. Now, I've become wiser (I did?) and I always go for leather and branded shoes. When it comes to shoes I think the price do tells me if it will last or not. Why be stingy to something that can last for a long time. I'd prefer pricey, plain and simple looking footwear than shining shimmering cheap shoes which only lasts lucky if for a month :)

The boot that that was un-heeled

It was an ordinary day in college and we are loitering around the catwalk. I was all hyper and we are having a good time. One of my friends suddenly noticed a black rubber thing lying on the floor. Obviously that was mine. I never knew that it would fall off.

An excuse to be happy day

Birthdays are said to be an excuse to be happy day.
I woke up late and I am not feeling well. Honestly, I don’t have any plans for the day and I will just wait for anyone who would ask me out today. As usual, I sat in front of our PC and slacked off. A lot texted me and wrote on my Facebook wall. Finally, I decided to go to the Mall of Asia to buy new stuff for myself. I left with my ATM and the fare that my Lola gave me.

I bought a new bag, wallet and a set of makeup. I was really dizzy so I mistakenly rode a different Jeep and end up in Baclaran.

WARNING: The following lines were only done by professionals don’t even think of trying it.
I was to ride and FX when I fainted.

When I opened my eyes; I saw people in white. (I am not that stupid to think that I am in heaven already; you probably know where I am then) A lot of unknown faces were staring at me and surprisingly happy? I didn’t know what happened. Suddenly, I remembered my acting classes and I’ve never seen such all emotions in one face.

Nurse: what’s your name miss?
Me: Huh? (Still in actual shock and can’t barely speak so I tried to look for my bag) Where’s my bag?

Nurse: You don’t have any bag when you brought here…

Me: HUH?! (More traumatic reaction) Okay…

Jane Austen overdose.

“…no young lady can be justified in falling in love before the gentleman’s love is declared, it must be very improper that a young lady should dream of a gentleman before the gentleman is first known to have dreamt of her.”

- Jane Austen (Northanger Abbey)

I am not quite sure if the quotation above is still true or applicable today. Many or most of the ladies today (somehow it includes me) were so impatient for love to arrive. More often, ladies already had an ideal or should I say a guy whom they secretly admire in their hearts. Sometimes though, they were even unaware that little by little they are falling in love to that person may that be a stranger, an acquaintance, a friend or even an enemy. I would bet that by now you have the picture of that person in your head.

Furthermore, is it really improper for a lady to like someone if he’s not even telling the lady that he does so? I am quiet puzzled by that thought. Who dreams of the opposite sex first is it the lady or the man? Hmm, somehow I have a theory in mind. God first created the man before the woman, and the man is the one who pursues the lady. Could it be that it is the man who first dreamt of the lady and that is why the lady also dreamt of the man? Sounds foolish, but it’s a thought that I can’t remove in my mind.

Moving on, it can also be possible that it is the guy who falls in love first of the lady. So ladies, you can’t say that you fell in love in him first before he does. In another sense, if you were already in love with that person now and is uncertain if he feels the same I guess he does like you somehow and you just don’t know it… guess the latter phrase just draw a smile on your face ladies.

I’ve only read two novels written by Jane Austen; Northanger Abbey, and Pride and prejudice. In the novel that I first mentioned, the man whom the heroine fell in love with didn’t give any hint that he is in love with the lady. The heroine just knows in her heart that he does. In the other novel, the lady didn’t like the man but in the end she realized that it isn’t really hate that draws her to the man but love, which she is so afraid to unfold. It is indeed the man who fell in love with the lady.

Though, man as hardheaded as they are, never overlooks things but scrupulously examine things, events, situations and circumstances. Man always plan for things and go headstrong if the opportune time came. However, most of the time their timing is so bad that they end up rejected. Unknowingly, they weren’t really rejected but they just came at the wrong time.

Therefore, I think it is the man who commits mistakes… because more often than not when ladies fall in love the man is also in love with them. Unlike when man fall in love it’s either a yes or an awful no… but well, ladies weren’t as genius as man. Some of the ladies book of revelation hasn’t open yet and they were still blindfolded that what they are longing for had been there for long even before they ever knew it.
